HGV Traffic Through Village
The parish council is recording reports of HGV traffic accessing the village in order to reach the site of a paper recycling operation that has moved into the old Snows Timber Yard at Newbury Hill. TVBC are investigating along with HCC to determine the impact and planning responsibilities. We encourage all residents to report all incidents to the Clerk who is compiling a list of complaints.
Solar farm land north of Penton
The planning application has now been given PERMISSION. There are 15 conditions attached to the Permission. Work has started on the access road and substation, the full build is expected 2023.
