What is the Pentons Village Design Statement?
The Pentons VDS has two purposes: To describe the Pentons as it is today and to set out guidance for the design of any future development in the village.
The VDS was created with contributions from residents in the form of workshops. Three draft documents were put together before the final was approved by the TVBC.
Why do we need a Village Design Statement?
The Pentons are a Conservation Area. The village and its surrounds needs to be protected. The VDS has been prepared in accordance with TVBC guidelines and is of importance not only for any development but also for everyone in the village who may be considering making changes to their homes and gardens.
