Sunday 18th PENTON MEWSEY LITTER PICK. Pride In Penton 2018. PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT US IN KEEPING YOUR VILLAGE CLEAN.  (will be held on Sunday 25th if the weather is bad)
 
Monday 19th Penton Mewsey Parish Council meeting at the village hall. Starts at 7.30pm all welcome to come along.
 
MARCH  2018
 
Saturday 9th. PENTON VILLAGE HALL - Past & Present. Presented by Rod Eggington. starts at 7.30pm at the Village Hall. Tickets £7.50 including light refreshment. Telephone Lois on 773493 or Anna on 773221. All proceeds to the Village Hall Refurbishment Fund.
 
Tuesday 13th PENTON COFFEE MORNING at the village hall. Starts at 10.30am All welcome
 
Monday 26th Penton Mewsey Parish Council meeting at the village hall. Starts at 7.30pm all welcome to come along.
 
31st March VILLAGE EMBLEM COMPETITION ENDS

VILLAGE EMBLEM COMPETITION  Closure date 31st March 2018:

 JUDGING:

2 entries from each category will be shortlisted by a panel made up of representatives from village organisations. The 4 shortlisted entries will then be voted on by residents (more about that in due course). Submitted Emblems will be judged on the basis of creativity, visual interest, appeal and the representation of the nature of the community of The PENTONS and its environment.

Judging by the village representatives and shortlisted entries will take place during April 2018 (dates to be advised).

There will be a prize for the winning entry.

COMPETITION RULES: Entries should be submitted on an A4 document (colour or black and white). Entries must include the name and address of the entrant and the age if a child. Entrants must be residents of The Pentons. Copyright of the design will remain with Penton Mewsey Parish Council. PMPC reserves the right not to use any of the designs submitted and also reserves the right to alter or re-work any winning images to better suit the needs of the community.

Entries must be posted to any of your councillors or the Clerk at Kea’s Cottage, Chalkcroft Lane. by 31st March 2018:

PENTON SPEED WATCH CAMPAIGN  2018.  We plan to re erect our Speed Indicator at the first opportunity and continue with our Speed Watch campaign.
