The
SHELAA is a technical document which provides information on
sites; submitted by Landowners and Agents, for potential housing
and economic development. This document is a component of the
Test Valley Local Plan.
The
SHELAA will only identify sites which have been promoted to the
Council, it does not allocate sites. The inclusion of the site
in the SHELAA does not imply that the Council would necessarily
grant planning permission.
The
key points that should be acknowledged when referring to this
document are:
-
The SHELAA only identifies sites with development potential, it does not
allocate sites.
-
The SHELAA is based on the most up to date information available
(supplied and researched) at the time of the document’s
preparation (July to October 2017). Therefore, factors may be
subject to change over time and may have an effect on any site.
-
The information is based on submissions received from landowners and
agents.
The
Call for Sites is always open, the Council welcomes all site
submissions even after the SHELAA has been published, details of
all sites submitted will be placed on file for a future review
of the SHELAA.
