This web site is provided by and for the use of the Parish and is here to provide information and items of interest to all residents of the Pentons. The pages are updated by the Clerk of the Council.
                 
We have four notice boards within our parish. One at Penton Corner, one at the entrance to the Recreation Ground, one at the post box at Trinity Rise and one in the bus shelter. All notice boards are kept up to date with Parish and local information. In addition we issue a Parish Newsletter every four months to ensure you are made fully aware of the decisions made on your behalf and to invite your input.
                        
Our Parish meetings are held about every six/seven weeks. All AGENDAS are held on this page.
                                 
Finally, please remember, this is YOUR Parish Council and we represent YOU. You are most welcome to come along and attend any of our meetings, have your say and be involved . . . . . Details of your councillors representing you are on this page. Please go ahead and talk to them about any concerns or items that you need to discuss.

Test Valley Borough Council SHELAA (Strategic Housing & Economic Land Availability Assessment) Explanation:
 

 The SHELAA is a technical document which provides information on sites; submitted by Landowners and Agents, for potential housing and economic development. This document is a component of the Test Valley Local Plan.

 

The SHELAA will only identify sites which have been promoted to the Council, it does not allocate sites. The inclusion of the site in the SHELAA does not imply that the Council would necessarily grant planning permission.

 

The key points that should be acknowledged when referring to this document are:

-          The SHELAA only identifies sites with development potential, it does not allocate sites.

-          The SHELAA is based on the most up to date information available (supplied and researched) at the time of the document’s preparation (July to October 2017). Therefore, factors may be subject to change over time and may have an effect on any site.

-          The information is based on submissions received from landowners and agents.

The Call for Sites is always open, the Council welcomes all site submissions even after the SHELAA has been published, details of all sites submitted will be placed on file for a future review of the SHELAA.
